Oh, I bet she’ll show up in a few novels, and that’s a fine thing.
I like to think she could be the face of the new North American: culturally diverse, comfortable in her own skin, and determined to act honestly (that “no victory lap” thing really gets me). Heck, I hope someday she and her kin will be in every novel.
