Just heard from the doc. The polyp was benign. No need for another colonoscopy for five to ten years.
When I was a kid, I thought that in the 21st century, I would have a jetpack. Time travellers, please do not go back and tell that kid he’ll get a colonoscopy instead.

Woke at 7:25, in time for five minutes of drinking water. Then my thought cycle for the rest of the day was, “I’m hungry and thirsty. I should eat and drink something. Oh.”

When I was young, I liked fasting. If I was a few pounds overweight, I would skip a meal or two. If I felt like I needed spiritual recharging, I would fast for a few days. I always liked the third day best, because that was when the hunger stopped.
