Obama took South Carolina with Edwards in the race. With Edwards out? In South Carolina … 24% of white voters chose Mr Obama. In Georgia the figure was 43%.

Obama has the coolest video I’ve seen so far. There’s nothing of substance in it, and a youtube commenter who supports Obama rightly points out that it should have more ordinary and fewer pretty people, but still, it’s extremely inspiring in an all-purpose way.

Obama on Edwards dropping out: here. It’s less than two minutes long, and it hits all the right notes. Now, whether Obama can become a better president than his career suggests, I don’t know. And whether he’s got a chance against the Clinton Machine, I don’t know either.
